NORWOOD, Charles W., Jr., a Representative from Georgia; born in Valdosta, Lowndes County, Ga., July 27, 1941; graduated from Baylor Military High School, Chattanooga, Tenn., 1959; B.A., Georgia Southern University, Statesboro, Ga., 1964; D.D.S., Georgetown University Dental School, Washington, D.C, 1967; United States Army, 1967-1969; dentist; business owner; elected as a Republican to the One Hundred Fourth and to the six succeeding Congresses, served until his death on February 13, 2007 (January 3, 1995-Febraury 13, 2007).
