Renninger, 1972-1976; head house parent, The Woods Schools, 1974-1976; caseworker, Bucks County, Pa., Children and Youth Social Service Agency, 1977-1980; member of the Pennsylvania state house of representatives, 1981-1986; member of the Pennsylvania state senate, 1987-1992; elected as a Republican to the One Hundred Third and to the five succeeding Congresses (January 3, 1993-January 3, 2005); not a candidate for reelection to the One Hundred Ninth Congress in 2004.
