I'm an Elizabeth too, but you would never find me making myself look like a total IDIOT over someone saying my name different. It upsets me that someone would be so RUDE to a person who clearly wasn't trying to offend.

http://emailsfromcrazypeople.com/2009/08/01/politics-is-serious-business/ Stumbled across an email line by this "wonder-full" congresswomen. I hope "Liz" can see this page. My message to "Liz", Dear Liz, HaHa, HaHa, you are a "model" citizen. I understand that it is unprofessional to take liberties with ones name, however after the initial correction and apology it is completely unnecessary to continue to harass the person, about their mistake. Liz, you are a disgrace to this country, and I am ashamed to see an elected official corresponding in such a demeaning manor. You are the problem with this country, and you should resign from office. Please Liz, from now on, control your out bursts you sad pathetic excuse for a human being. E.S.A.D, lol@liz

This type of behavior is not atypical of uptight Seattleites, especially those who work for liberal congressmen who have long outlived their usefulness and never have any electoral competition. She is obviously someone who has serious "boundary issues" and cannot function in any kind of a normal workplace environment. Sad that we all have to pay her salary. I guess it is better than being on public assistance.

Really? Is this acceptable and sane behavior in a government OR business environment? I suppose, in a government environment, rules of conduct that are thought to be “self evident” really are not. Is a government environment really held to lower standards than a business environment? And if so, why? Shouldn’t the government be held to a higher standard than a “mere” business would be? Heck, government is hardly held to the same standard that a 9 year old running a lemon aid stand would be held to. At least most 9 year olds know to be nice to their customers. Finally, how does someone keep a job that requires a high level of interpersonal skills, without having said interpersonal skills? All I can think of is a lot of (redacted before posted).. err friends in high places.
