Sen. Collins picks up tax counsel from QGA

Posted by Keturah Hetrick on April 10, 2017

Sen. Susan Collins (R-Maine) has picked up a new tax counsel from dying lobbying firm QGA Public Affairs.

Michael DiRoma had been the company's director and counsel since 2013. DiRoma's recent lobbying clients at QGA included Sony and Zurich Insurance Group. He holds a JD degree from the University of San Diego and an LLM degree in taxation from Georgetown.

Founded in 2000, QGA was once among Washington's top lobbying firms. The firm is now winding down, with most of its employees having left at the end of March, reports Politico.
