Ex-lobbyist leaves EPW for environment group

Posted by Keturah Hetrick on May 11, 2017

A former lobbyist has left her job with the Senate Environment and Public Works Committee for a midwest-focused environmental advocacy group.

Ann Mesnikoff, now federal legislative director at the Chicago-based Environmental Law and Policy Center, had worked as minority counsel to the committee since 2015. She previously worked as a lobbyist for the Sierra Club and the Campaign for Tobacco-Free Kids.

The ELPC works through its in-house team and SPO Strategic Consulting to lobby mainly on high-speed rail, drones and autonomous-vehicle laws.
