Rep. LaMalfa loses longtime staffer to PACE

A legislative director who followed Rep. Doug LaMalfa (R-Calif.) from the California Senate to Capitol Hill has finally ditched his boss for a lobbying job.

Kevin Eastman, now a partner at PACE LLP, had worked as LaMalfa's legislative director since 2010, when LaMalfa joined the California Senate, and moved with him to Washington when LaMalfa was sworn into Congress in 2013. The dedicated staffer first joined LaMalfa in the State Assmebly in 2008.

Eastman's first registered federal client at PACE is the Morongo Band of Mission Indians, a federally recognized tribe in southern California.
