Sen. Feinstein's tribal issues aide heads to the lobbying world

Posted by Katie Barrows on Dec. 17, 2013

A tribal expert with Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.) has joined a lobbying firm with a history of Native American clients.

Devin Rhinerson has joined PACE LLP as a senior associate, after serving almost four years as a legislative assistant for Feinstein. PACE LLP is a bipartisan lobbying firm based in Arlington, Va. The firm's past clients include Indian Interactive Gaming Coalition, Indian Wells Valley Economic Development Corp. and Oneida Tribe of Indians of Wisconsin.

This is Rhinerson's first venture into the private sector. He began with Feinstein's office after graduating from college in 2006, starting as a staff assistant. Rhinerson worked his way up the ranks to legislative assistant, with his portfolio including Native American issues.
