Rep. Nan Hayworth (R-N.Y.)'s communications director did not always envision having a role on a congressional staff. One of his earliest roles was in a cult movie playing a character named Vermin.
Terry Michos first gained fame starring in the 1979 cult classic The Warriors, a film centered on gang warfare in a dystopic New York City. Michos' character, Vermin, offers comic relief throughout the movie. Few other roles followed Michos' turn in The Warriors. He bowed out of acting in 1982 according to his IMDB page. In between his film career and joining Hayworth's staff this year, Michos spent time as a news anchor in upstate New York.
