Mike Canning, Jr. from Baltimore is a lobbyist with a penchant for alligator wrestling. At least it appears that way on his LinkedIn profile.

Canning is president and CEO of the Pet Industry Joint Advisory Council, the world's largest pet trade association. His LinkedIn photo shows him with his arms around the neck of an alligator.

PIJAC has been in the news most recently for its opposition to the Los Angeles pet sale ban. The city passed the ban to help eliminate puppy mills and reduce the city's animal euthanasia rates.
