A Sen. Sherrod Brown (D-Ohio) aide packed up and returned to her collegiate alma mater not to pursue further education, but instead to lobby for it.

Margie Glick became assistant director of federal relations for Vanderbilt University. Glick, a 2008 public policy and sociology major, started with Brown less than a year after graduating from Vanderbilt. Brown saw her rise from staff assistant to legislative assistant in her three and a half years with him. She has not yet filed paperwork as a registered lobbyist.
