Revolving door

Former Minnesota Republican senator and current Romney campaign senior adviser Norm Coleman has picked up his first official lobbying client, a year and a half after joining law and lobbying stalwart Hogan Lovells.

Coleman is lobbying on behalf of Medica Health Plans, a Minnesota-based health care provider. According to its website, Medica covers 1.5 million members and generated $4 billion in revenue in 2010.

Coleman is a busy man. Besides his role with the Romney campaign and at Hogan Lovells, he is chairman of the American Action Network, a super PAC that is actively funding congressional GOP candidates in the upcoming election.
