The House received a message from the Clerk. Pursuant to the permission granted in Clause 2(h) of Rule II of the Rules of the U.S. House of Representatives, the Clerk received the following message from the Secretary of the Senate on September 12, 2007, at 3:57 p.m.: That the Senate passed without amendment H.R. 954 and H.R. 3218; that the Senate passed H.R. 3074 with an amendment, requested a conference and appointed conferees on H.R. 3074; and that the Senate passed S. 1692.

The House received a message from the Clerk. Pursuant to the permission granted in Clause 2(h) of Rule II of the Rules of the U.S. House of Representatives, the Clerk received the following message from the Secretary of the Senate on September 11, 2007, at 1:47 p.m.: That the Senate passed with an amendment, requested a conference, and appointed conferees on H.R. 2764.
