The House received a communication from Daniel P. Beard, Chief Administrative Officer. Pursuant to Rule VIII of the Rules of the House of Representatives, Mr. Beard notified the House that he had been served with two administrative subpoenas for documents issued by the Merit Systems Protection Board, and after consultation with the Office of General Counsel, he determined that compliance with the subpoenas were consistent with the privileges and rights of the House.
