An amendment numbered 32 printed in House Report 111-370 to provide the Director of the Consumer Financial Protection Agency with authority to issue regulations for reverse mortgage transactions within one year of enactment. It would clarify the Directors authority to consider additional consumer protections under both consumer protection statutes and HUD regulations.
