The House received a communication from Daniel Strodel, Chief Administrative Officer. Pursuant to Rule VIII of the Rules of the House of Representatives, Mr. Strodel notified the House that he had been served with a subpoena issued by the United States District of Columbia, for documents in a third-party civil case. After consultation with the Office of General Counsel, Mr. Strodel had determined that compliance with the subpoena is consistent with the precedents and privileges of the House.
