The House received a communication from Thomas Tillett, District Chief of Staff, Congressman Joe Pit ts. Pursuant to Rule VIII of the Rules of the House of Representatives, Mr. Tillett notified the House that he had been served with a subpoena issued by the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, requesting documents in a third-party civil case. He has determined that there are no documents responsive to the subpoena, and that it is not necessary for him to determine whether compliance with the subpoena is consistent with the privileges and rights of the House.
