The House received a communication from Kevin Brady, Chairman, Committee on Ways and Means. Pursuant to Section 8002 of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, in order to fill the House majority vacancy on the Joint Committee on Taxation created by the Speaker's resignation from the committee, Mr. Nunes has been designated to serve on the Committee. Thus, those serving on the Joint Committee on Taxation for the House are: Kevin Brady, Sam Johnson, Devin Nunes, Sander Levin and Charles Rangel.
