The House received a communication from Elijah Cummings, Member of Congress. Pursuant to Rule VIII of the Rules of the House of Representatives, Mr. Cummings notified the House that he had been served with a subpoena for documents issued by the District Court for the District of Maryland in Benisek v. Lamone, and that after consultation with the Office of General Counsel, he has determined that compliance with the subpoena is consistent with the privileges and rights of the House.
