House 2010 3rd quarter salaries are available
LegiStorm has added the House of Representative salary data for the 2010 third quarter today.
The new data offers the first look at the payroll of Rep. Tom Graves (R-Ga.) who filled a vacant seat this summer. Graves employed 19 people during the quarter. The highest paid was his chief of staff, Tim Baker, who earned a little more than $25,000. That translates to a salary of around $100,000 - well below the maximum allowable salary of about $168,000.
The new salary data, which covers the period from July 1 - Sept. 30, 2010, is the most recent available from the House of Representatives. The information was released late last week by the House in PDF format. The House releases salary data quarterly, with the information usually made public about two months after the end of the quarter. Once the files have been released as PDF files, we add the information into our database, then edit and research to make sure the names and salaries are correct.
