I have been trying to contact Senator Blanche Lincoln to no avail. I totally disagree with her argument against the Public Option. As an American citizen it should not matter that I am not from Arkansas in order to contact her office by telephone or e-mail. She has enough staff - we pay for - to handle calls and e-mails. Back to the "Reagan argument" about too much government as regards to Health Care, you must consider that Health Care is a Human Right. For-profit insurance companies culd tak the slack in what a public insurance cannot cover. The price of pharmaceutical drugs in the U.S. is outrageous! Certain doctors and clinics are "for-profit" which is entirely against the oath they take when becoming doctors (ditto for Pharmacists). That the government has let such predatory practices to prevail is "too big" to swallow. Jane Hauser anehauser@free.fr
