Great website! It provides factual basis for asking "our representatives" what exactly they learned and how many nights they spent in the Palestinian territories. We should ask them if they talked with Israeli organizations BtSelem or Gush Shalom. Given that the US is accused of being biased in favor of Israel it would seem important to show some semblance of balance and interest in the Palestinian perspective and facts. Did these representatives do that .... or was there trip yet another demonstration of bias?

"C'mon people, you need to send more of your sons, daughters, wives, husbands and other loved ones to fight and die for Israel!! Israel is our only 'friend' in the ME and it only costs about $50 BILLION a year to keep that friendship..... and a lot of American lives..... and oh, BTW, we needed your 401K accounts and pension funds more than you, you pig. If you don't want to blindly support Israel, you're just a bunch of 'anti-Semites." Yes, Israel is such a 'peace' loving state. That's why the IDF is on the border of Lebanon right now, making war like noises and AGAIN threatening to invade and pimping OUR Congress to bomb Iran. The only 'peace' Israel wants is: A 'piece' of Syria; a 'piece' of Jordan; a 'piece' of Iraq; a 'piece' of Saudi Arabia; a 'piece' of Turkey; a 'piece' of Egypt; a 'piece' of Lebanon and whatever 'pieces' are left of Palestine after Apartheid Israel finishes its campaign of ethnic cleansing against the Palestinians.

Let's be honest - Israel has undercover hookers, drugs, etc - and lots of hidden cameras. So they can blackmail elected officials to be their stooges in Washington. No doubt.

Sorry to say this, we all were warned by Adolf Hitler. Must reread Mein Kampf to explore further parallels to today's issues.

"Do you really think his actual goals and stated goals have anything in common?" Actually, no I don't. Certainly, one must believe his STATED goals have nothing in common with his actual policy decisions. To be honest, I have always viewed Obama as insincere as it applies to the middle east, just one more marionette for the Israeli machine. It is very telling watching Clinton and Obama posture in regards to the settlements, while ignoring egregious Israeli abuses and crimes that actually render the settlement issue a secondary concern. Meanwhile, Tristan Anderson rots in a Tel Aviv hospital bed, forgotten and ignored by his own State Department, as Israel refuses to accept blame or financial responsibility for shooting an American citizen in the head at close range. How Clinton and Obama can be seen as credibly taking a "hard line" with the settlement issue while they stood mute during the "Operation Cast Lead" bloodbath defies imagination. Since when is geographic expansion a larger issue than blatant crimes against humanity, such as raining white phosphorous down on civilian non-combatants?

PissedoffAmerican said: "The list of Congresscritters purposely working to undermine Barack Obama's stated policy goals is truly breathtaking. What progress can Obama make in changing the Isr/Pal/USA dynamic when affluent members of his own party are knifing him in the back?" Don't be fooled by Obama's 'stated policy goals' Remember the first thing he did after winning the election was to name a previously established Israeli spy as his White House chief of staff. Do you really think his actual goals and stated goals have anything in common?

Astounding, isn't it? The list of Congresscritters purposely working to undermine Barack Obama's stated policy goals is truly breathtaking. What progress can Obama make in changing the Isr/Pal/USA dynamic when affluent members of his own party are knifing him in the back? Reid, Hoyer, etc. all working to take the teeth out of Obama's demands for Israeli concessions. Factor in the efforts of these religious wackjobs like Huckabee and his army of far RW religious nuts praying nightly for Armeggedon, and you can only surmise that the hurdles placed in the path of true progress for peace are far too high to leap. "Change" is a pipe dream in regards to the Isr/Pal conflict. Israel will simply continue its policy of slow genocide and geographical expansion, aided and abetted by our tax dollars and the complicity of our own government.

Pity Israel doesn't practice the diversity that Jews everywhere tell us all is so good and wonderful for our own countries.

10 % of our Congress traveled to Israel (summer 2009) to get "educated" and "funded". ..... It is noteworthy that our media shroud this topic in darkness, - a secret not to be printed ........... Attaboy, Legistorm for informing the public .... !!!!!!!
