Will a Senate aide turned lobbyist save history?

Posted by Keturah Hetrick on Oct. 21, 2016

A decade-long Senate aide has made her first spin through the revolving door. Janelle DiLuccia has filed as a lobbyist shortly after beginning her position as associate director of public lands policy for the National Trust for Historic Preservation this month.

The West Virginia native most recently worked as a senior legislative assistant for Sen. Jon Tester (D-Mont.) and had held various positions with former Sen. Tim Johnson (D-S.D.) since 2005.

The Washington, D.C.-based nonprofit routinely lobbies on a number of issues related to the preservation of public lands and national parks.
