House LD trades in Hill for export agency

While the rest of us worry what will happen with the price of tomatoes in a possible trade war with Mexico, the former legislative director for Rep. Michael Turner (R-Ohio) will be more deeply steeped in those trade tensions at the agency responsible for promoting U.S. exports.

Andy Sigmon, who had been with Turner's office since 2010, is now a legislative and intergovernmental affairs specialist at the International Trade Administration, a Commerce Department agency.

He'll have his job cut out for him: Trump's trade policies could harm the country's export industry, according to many experts.
