Sen. Boozman daughter lobbying for JPMorgan Chase Holdings

Posted by Keturah Hetrick on April 24, 2017

After four years with the company, the daughter of Sen. John Boozman (R-Ark.) is officially lobbying for JPMorgan Chase Holdings.

Shannon Boozman joins eight others at the holding company lobbying Congress and other government departments and agencies on issues including cyber-security and data protection, veterans' access to capital, and the Flood Insurance Market Parity and Modernization Act, which would require flood insurance for certain buildings, according to a disclosure form the company filed on Thursday.

The senator's daughter has worked at JPMorgan Chase Holdings as a senior government relations associate since 2013 but only this month did she register as a lobbyist. In addition to her positions with the 2004 and 2008 Republican National Conventions and the 55th Presidential Inaugural Committee, she has served as director of association outreach for the U.S. Commercial Service and as a deputy chief of protocol for the Commerce Department.
