Sen. Udall calls on telecom lobbyist

Posted by Keturah Hetrick on Oct. 12, 2017

When Sen. Tom Udall (D-N.M.) called for a new legislative assistant, Meagan Foster answered.

The telecommunications lobbyist most recently worked as vice president of government affairs for the U.S. Telecom Association. She has also worked as director of government affairs for NTCA-The Rural Broadband Association and as a legislative assistant to Sen. Mark Begich (D-Alaska).

Foster now handles Udall's telecom, technology and commerce portfolio. This year, the senator has issued several statements opposing proposed rollbacks to Federal Communications Commission net-neutrality rules.
