Land-title group adds longtime Sen. Hoeven aide

Posted by Keturah Hetrick on Oct. 31, 2017

The trade group representing the land-title insurance industry has walked away with Sen. John Hoeven's (R-N.D.) policy adviser, several months after the group met with the senator and his then-aide.

Emily Tryon, now the American Land Title Association's public-policy director, had worked for Hoeven since 2011. She and Hoeven met with ALTA representatives in May during the trade group's Lobby Day.

Tryon handled a range of legislative issues for the senator, including commerce, finance and housing.

Her husband, Warren Tryon, is a principal lobbyist at Capitol Counsel.
