Pork lobbyist comes home to Sen. Tillis

Posted by Keturah Hetrick on May 8, 2018

Sen. Thom Tillis's (R-N.C.) new legislative assistant is used to bringing home the bacon.

Corey Brown was most recently domestic policy counsel at the National Pork Producers Council, where she lobbied Congress and the USDA on various agriculture, animal, immigration and labor issues. She starts Thursday handling Tillis's agriculture, environment and public lands portfolios.

This is Brown's third time with the Tillis office. She interned with Tillis while a student at the University of North Carolina School of Law and served as his law clerk after graduating.
