Wholesalers' group picks up deputy chief of staff to ex-Rep. Farenthold

Posted by Keturah Hetrick on May 21, 2018

After a decade on the Hill, former Rep. Blake Farenthold's (R-Texas) deputy chief of staff has finally hit the private sector.

Blake Adami is now vice president of government relations at the National Association of Wholesaler-Distributors, where he'll handle health care and labor issues. The trade group spent more than $700,000 on federal lobbying last year.

Adami worked for Farenthold from 2011 until last month, when the congressman resigned for reportedly using taxpayer funds to settle a sexual harassment case. Adami previously worked for Rep. John Culberson (R-Texas).
