A former staffer under Reps. Tom DeLay (R-Texas) and Jim McCrery (R-La.) has become a newly registered foreign lobbyist on behalf of Kazakh and Kurdish interests.

Charles Faulkner will aid the government of Kazakhstan and the Kurdish Regional Government by advising them on the U.S. policy making process and by securing them meetings with U.S. officials, according to Faulkner's disclosure. Faulkner's salary and duration of service are not detailed.

Faulkner just joined BGR Government Affairs as a vice president in June.
