Rep. Lloyd Doggett (D-Texas) has a legislative aide who recently returned from the ranks of Icelandic professional soccer.

Sara Jordan played forward for Haukar, a women's team in the Premier Division, the highest level of the sport in Iceland, from 2010 to 2011. Doggett brought Jordan onto his staff in 2011.
