ADJUSTED WHOLE NUMBER OF THE HOUSE - Under clause 5(d) of rule XX, the Chair announced that, in light of the resignation of the gentlewoman from California, Ms. Solis, the whole number of the House is adjusted to 432.
The House received a communication from Representative Solis (CA) wherein she resigns as a member of the House of Representatives effective at close of business today.
Mr. Pascrell asked unanimous consent that the President's message be referred to the Committee of the Whole House on the State of the Union and ordered printed as a House Document (H. Doc. 111-1). Agreed to without objection.
