2Is Inc. is a rapidly growing business founded in 2002 that provides affordable supply support innovation to the Department of Defense (DoD) and its industrial partners. We source mission critical repair parts, priced fairly and delivered fast to the Military Services, the Defense Logistics Agency, and DoD contractors. We also provide Engineering Technical Services and Software Services. In 2009, 2Is was recognized as the 249th fastest-growing, privately held, U.S.-Based Company by Inc. Magazine; we were also the 29th fastest growing company in the field of Government Services.
2Is Inc. has three business lines: Parts Fulfillment, Engineering Technical Services (ETS), and Software Products & Services. 2Is works closely with the Defense Logistics Agency and the In-Service Engineering Support Activities to provide long-term solutions for obsolete or problematic repair parts. The Parts Fulfillment Business line is focused on winning and delivering repair part contracts in cooperation with our integrated manufacturing network. In addition, we are certified by various Military Engineering Service Agencies (ESAs) to reverse engineer and source aircraft flight safety critical repair parts, nuclear reactor components, and submarine Sub-safe or Level I components in addition to many other product classes with less rigorous engineering requirements.
2Is designs and develops logistics decision support and Independent Verification and Validation enterprise systems that have demonstrated tens of millions of dollars in reduced total cost of inventory ownership for the military and OEM supply chain. Our applications have been proven under multiple DOD Test and Evaluation contracts and are also used in-house by 2Is Senior Engineers. 2Is applications are provided to external customers in a Software as a Service (SaaS) model and are served securely over the Internet. The development process is monitored by internal Quality Assurance staff and externally registered and audited to CMMI Level 3 standards.
