Information
Organization's Own Description:
Redlands Community Hospital has been providing healthcare to people of all ages throughout our community for more than 100 years. Founded in 1904 on Nordina Street, the hospital has relocated and grown in response to our area's growth and advancements in medical technology. In the 1920s, local citizens, along with Mr. and Mrs. E.M. Cope, donated 17 acres of land to build a new hospital.
Since our move to Terracina Boulevard in 1929, the hospital has added several wings, multi-story buildings, and patient care towers. This has included facilities to house the laboratory and radiology departments and most recently, the addition of the Stan and Ellen Weisser Education Pavilion and Maternity and Surgery Services building.
Redlands Community Hospital still sits proudly on the hilltop in southwest Redlands that was donated by the Cope family. Now in our second century of service, we are please to provide quality healthcare, 24 hours a day, to people of all ages throughout the Inland Empire, East Valley, San Bernardino Mountains, and San Gorgonio Pass regions.
Today, we are a 229-bed, acute care facility widely recognized for personal, attentive care, along with comprehensive, high-quality services. In fact, Redlands Community Hospital is accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (TJC). Whether you have diagnostic testing, a scheduled procedure or even emergency care, we are here for you when you need us.
