Richard Blumenthal's (D-Conn.) newest legislative correspondent may have just taken her first real job since college, but she has much wisdom about living in Washington to impart to newcomers.Kim Quarantello, who interned for her now-boss in summer 2011, authored "How to Survive DC: A Wellesley Summer Intern Series" for the Wellesley Wire. In it, she tells her fellow classmates a mix of practical guidance, such as "learn to love Safeway", and "get over yourself" since "the sooner you can accomplish this simple task, the better your summer will be." read more
