ADJUSTED WHOLE NUMBER OF THE HOUSE - Under clause 5(d) of rule 20, the Chair announced that, in light of the recent administration of the oath to the gentlewoman from Maryland, Ms. Edwards, the whole number of the House stands at 435.

OATH OF OFFICE - Representative-Elect Donna Edwards, Fourth District, State of Maryland, presented herself in the well of the House for the purpose of taking the Oath of Office which was administered by the Speaker of the House.
