The House received a communication from David Meurer, Field Representative, Office of Rep. Herger. Pursuant to Rule VIII of the Rules of the House of Representatives, Mr. Meurer notified the House that he had been served with a subpoena issued in the Superior Court of California, County of Shasta for testimony in a criminal case and that after consultation with the Office of General Counsel, he had determined that compliance with the subpoena is consistent with the precedents and privileges of the House.
