The House received a communication from Dean Lester, Financial Administrator, Representative Henry Cuellar. Pursuant to Rule VIII of the Rules of the House of Representatives, Mr. Lester notified the House that he had been served with a subpoena for testimony issued by the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia, and that after consultation with the Office of House Employment Counsel, he had determined that compliance with the subpoena was consistent with the privileges and rights of the House.
