Former lobbyist for shoe company joins congressional office

Posted by Jenna Ebersole on May 1, 2015

A lobbyist who advocated for Converse Inc. has returned to the Hill as counsel in Sen. Dan Sullivan's (R-Alaska) office.

Kathleen Slattery registered to lobby while working as an associate at American Continental Group Inc. between 2013 and earlier this year after serving as a law clerk at CTIA. Her last position in Congress was as a law clerk in 2012 for the House Energy and Commerce Committee.

Slattery, who earned a bachelor's from Loyola University Maryland and a 2013 law degree from Catholic University, lobbied for Converse on intellectual property protection and related trade issues. She also has experience as a law clerk at the Federal Communications Commission.
