As Democrats and Republicans competed for the lead in a contest with a historical tie, President Barack Obama dropped by to whip votes to break a different kind of logjam.
Fans from both side of the aisle - and field - rushed to take selfies and faraway photos of Obama when he appeared at the annual congressional baseball game Thursday night as he seeks support on a trade impasse. Republicans and Democrats live-tweeted the game and surprise POTUS visit.
