Failure to launch sends U.S.-Russian company to K St.

Posted by Keturah Hetrick on Jan. 6, 2017

A U.S.-Russian joint venture that can't get its rocket off the ground has re-launched its lobbying contract with the Madison Group.

The lobbying group had represented ILS International Launch Services for several months in 2014.

ILS, which was co-founded by Lockheed Martin in 1995, returned to the Madison Group for lobbying help on unspecified "issues pertaining to satellite and space" shortly after the launch of its Proton-M carrier rocket was rescheduled from November to December. The launch was postponed again last week, according to an industry publication.
