Trump friend/Mar-a-Lago member takes up lobbying

Posted by Keturah Hetrick on May 1, 2017

Members of President Trump's Mar-a-Lago Club benefit from such exclusive access to the administration that one regular has entered the lobbying world herself.

Floridian Kerry Casey, whose Facebook photos document a long-established relationship with the president, has set up a lobbying firm in Washington, Quantum International, and has registered its first client.

She and her husband, Craig Casey, a retired Navy plane captain who says he has worked for Trump Entertainment Resorts and was a part of Mar-a-Lago's opening team, live in Lake Worth, Fla., about five miles from the glitzy club. Their social media accounts prominently feature dozens of photos with Donald Trump, his properties, and his campaign and administration officials.

This is the first federal lobbying filing for Quantum International. For an undisclosed amount of money, the boutique lobbying firm is helping Greg Olsen, an entrepreneur who made history as the third privately funded visitor to the International Space Station, to donate "2600-3000 acres of land in Montana" to the National Park Service, according to a disclosure form.
