Congress's newest member chooses campaign director as chief

Fred Keller (R-Pa.), Congress's newest member, has chosen his campaign director as his new office chief of staff.

Jon Anzur takes the staff helm as Keller begins his tenure in Congress today. Voters elected Keller in a landslide to fill the vacancy left when Tom Marino (R) resigned from office for a private-sector job earlier this year.

Before joining Keller's team this year, Anzur worked for ex-Rep. Lou Barletta (R-Pa.), with experience both as communications director in the congressman's official office and as campaign manager to Barletta's 2016 re-election campaign and unsuccessful 2018 Senate bid.
