Rep. Ed Pastor's appropriations aide has left the Hill to lobby to end hunger

Posted by Katie Barrows on Oct. 15, 2013

A former aide for Rep. Ed Pastor (D-Ariz.) is now lobbying with an organization dedicated to ending hunger.

Bread for the World Inc. has brought on board Beth Ann Saracco as a policy analyst. The Christian-based group works to alleviate hunger in the U.S. and internationally.

Prior to joining the private sector, Saracco served in the offices of two congressmen. She started her Hill career in 2009 as a staff assistant for Rep. John Tanner (D-Tenn.), eventually becoming Pastor's appropriations legislative assistant.
