Penn Hill Group picks up HELP education adviser

Posted by Keturah Hetrick on Oct. 20, 2016

The Penn Hill Group is deepening its education expertise with a new vice president hire, an education adviser for the Senate House Education and the Workforce Committee.

The lobbying firm, which focuses on education and workforce issues, counts a large number of education groups among its clients, including the College Board and the Association of Governing Boards of Universities and Colleges.

The new Penn Hill hire, Lindsay Fryer, joined the HELP Committee in 2011, where she worked as a Republican professional staff member until moving to the Senate Health, Education, Labor and Pensions Committee as a senior education policy adviser in 2014.

The Harvard-educated ex-staffer previously spent three years at TeenLife Boston, an organization that matches middle- and high-school students with educational and volunteer programs, and three years with the American Institutes for Research.
