DEBATE - The House proceeded with one hour of debate on the
Hoekstra motion to instruct conferees on
H.R. 2669.
The
instructions contained in the motion seek to require the
managers on the part of the House to agree to the provisions
contained in section 801 of the Senate amendment, relating
to the sense of the Senate on the detainees at Guantanamo
Bay, Cuba.
Mr. Hoekstra moved that the House instruct conferees.
