Pursuant to the permission granted in Clause 2(h) of Rule II of the Rules of the U.S. House of Representatives, the Clerk notified the House that she had received the a message from the Secretary of the Senate on March 30, 2009, at 9:38 a.m. stating that that body had passed H.R. 1388 with amendments. The message further stated appointments made to the Senate National Security Working Group and the National Council of the Arts.
