Pursuant to Rule VIII of the Rules of the House of Representatives, Representative Cummings notified the House that he had been served with a subpoena for documents and testimony issued by the District Court of Maryland, Baltimore County, in connection with civil litigation currently pending before that court and that after consultation with the Office of General Counsel, he had determined that compliance with the subpoena was not consistent with the privileges and rights of the House.

Pursuant to Rule VIII of the Rules of the House of Representatives, Representative Cummings notified the House that he had been served with a subpoena for documents and testimony issued by the District Court of Maryland, Baltimore County, in connection with civil litigation currently pending before that court and that after consultation with the Office of General Counsel, he had determined that compliance with the subpoena was not consistent with the privileges and rights of the House.
