An amendment, offered by Mr. Cummings, numbered 26 printed in to expand the protections under the Servicemembers Civil Relief Act (SCRA) to include servicemembers serving in a contingency operation, surviving spouses of servicemembers whose deaths are service-connected, and veterans who are totally disabled at the time of discharge; and to repeal the sunset provision that is set to expire at the end of this year and increase fines for violations of the SCRA.
