The House received a communication from Frank Wolf, Member of Congress. Pursuant to Rule VIII of the Rules of the House of Representatives, Mr. Wolf notified the House that he had been served with a subpoena for documents issued by the Fairfax County Circuit Court in connection with civil litigation currently pending before that court. After consultation with the Office of General Counsel, Mr. Wolf had determined that compliance with the subpoena was inconsistent with the privileges and precedents of the House.
