DEBATE - The House proceeded with 10 minutes of debate on the Norton motion to recommit with instructions. The instructions contained in the motion seek to report the same back to the House forthwith with an amendment to reauthorize the institutionp, pending reservation of a point of order. Since the Export-Import Bank shut down, hundreds of jobs have been shipped overseas and thousands of others have been put in jeopardy. It is time to let the House work its will and reauthorize the Export-Import Bank. Subsequently, the reservation of a point of order was withdrawn.
